Course reviews from previous students

It was brilliant and well worth the costs of the course and the trip
down from London. Martyn and Phil were fantastic teachers and they
demystified stuff about bikes that had bewildered me for years. I
believe I now have the confidence to do a complete strip down and
rebuild and ensure my rig runs like a dream.

Cameron

I wish to thank Downland Cycles and in particular Martin Hay our instructor for the excellent 2 day bike mechanic's course, held in June 2010.
Martin is an extremely knowledgeable and experienced bike mechanic and instructor with a friendly helpful approach to passing on his knowledge and skills.
By mid morning on the first day, I was amazed at the amount of information I had gained and felt the course had already paid for itself.
By the end of day one, I wondered if I would remember everything, because we had covered so much information and gained so many new bike mechanic tips and techniques.
However, on day two, whilst working on our own bikes, it all came together whereby I gained confidence and remember feeling excited when everything we had been taught came together.
The 2 day weekend course was well worth it and staying in Canterbury added to the pleasure.
The course was recommended to me by my local bike shop, as they send their staff to be trained by Download Cycles.
I would have liked to have done the 5 day course, but couldn't take the time off work. The course was very informative and enjoyable. I have now booked on the one day wheel maintenance course in September and can't wait to start.

Many thanks,
Ian Gayton
