RIDE LISTS

Promoting social cycling for women in East Kent. Although we are based in Sandwich, our members live all over East Kent; several live in the Herne Bay/Whitstable area and a couple of our new members live in Faversham. We are non-competitive and supportive. Whether you are looking for a leisurely morning ride or a 60+ mile challenge - we have a ride for you. We welcome new members so come and join the fun!

Fast Training Rides
(these are not for leisure cyclists)

Saturdays
Meet at Grove Ferry to leave 9:30am. Rides in winter go down to Lympne/Hythe area, return via the Elham Valley and disperse at Barham from where you make your way home. In the Racing Season the ride will generally go over the Downs for a tea stop in Sandwich after which you make your way home.

Sundays
Meet on the bridge over the A2 at Barham to leave 9:00am. The ride goes to Rye (often for a cafe stop) via Elham, Lyminge, Lympne, Aldington, Ham Street, Kennardington, Appledore, Rye. The ride is very popular through the winter but in the Racing Season there could only be a few people taking part.

Wednesdays
Meet on the bridge over the A2 at Barham to leave at 9:30 am. This ride goes to Rye following the same route as Sunday's. Again, sometimes a Cafè stop but there are those who return directly from Appledore making the ride slightly shorter.
