Why Isaac? Because it’s the last 1% that makes
all the difference.
Isaac’s designs use natural, rounded forms and continuous monocoque
structures. Why? Simply because these are the best. Nature didn’t
provide eggs, trees, shells and bones with these same shapes by accident
– or for reasons of styling. Rounded shapes, in continuous monocoque
structures, reduce stress and optimise strength – allowing a reduction
in weight. Natural evolution is the ultimate R&D project!
Isaac produces a range of carbon composite road racing framesets. All are
fully worthy of international competition, and each will satisfy different
needs. Each has its own distinct characteristics, in order to deliver
specific benefits and particular desired qualities.
The differences are in the materials used, and the time spent on
construction. Ascending the range brings a reduction in weight. Further
detail in the lay-up means that the compliance is tuned to provide lateral
and torsional resistance with a good degree of vertical ‘give’ for
shock absorbing comfort. Towards the top of the range a greater proportion
of the visible layer of woven carbon is on show.
