Remote Switch...

Use the Remote Switch for easier switching in the dark, especially when wearing winter gloves, taking advantage of the larger button on the Remote Switch.

Just as cars dip their headlights for oncoming traffic and cyclists, you can too. On the road or on the bike path our lights are so bright in MaXx mode that it is recommended to "dip" down to Low light mode when someone is coming towards you. With the Remote Switch, this can be easily and quickly done with two clicks of the button.

  • Easier operation - especially when wearing winter gloves
  • Easily dip your light in traffic, then restore MaXx when needed
  • Attach where comfortable for you
  • Maintain the fuel guage operation on the light

Piggyback Batteries

For most people, the burn times of a standard MaXx light is more than enough, however, the "Piggyback" battery feature allows the burn times to be extended up to 96 hours at maximum! The most impressive burn time return on a Piggyback battery is a Joystick with a 3 cell "Piggyback" attached.

Simply by plugging a "Piggyback" lithium-ion battery into the charger port and attaching the extra battery beneath your stem you can add burn times equivalent to the Joystick or Enduro MaXx by adding either a 1 or 3 cell battery.

The idea of the Piggyback battery is to plug the battery into the light at the start of use. This will allow you to use the light on MaXx, Ride and High for a largely extended period of time.

If the battery is plugged in with the light half charged, the Ride and Low modes will be avilable.

The Piggyback batteries can be mounted either on your stem / handlebar or helmet - making your extra burn time flexible in all aspects!

Quick Release Bracket

The Quick Release bracket is now available with all MaXx-2 Lights (Race, Enduro & MaXx-D as standard)

The bracket comes with a sizing ring and fits all bars 25.0mm (STD) - 31.8mm (O/S)

The quick release bracket is also retro - fittable to the previous MaXx range and the 2006/7 Race & Enduro Turbo models and is available as an accessory from a dealer.

The "cleat plate" simply bolts to the light unit. Then clamp the bracket to your handlebar. Now the light can simply be clipped on to the bracket and removed extremely easily - just pull the red release button on the bottom of the bracket and the light is free.

When the light is attached to the bracket a 4mm Allen Key can be inserted beneath to adjust it to your perfect angle.
