Downland Autumn Sportive

Once again we are running the Autumn Sportive

Registration now open

Wind down your Sportive season with the Downland Autumn Sportive.
Ride through the quiet lanes of Kent over a wide range of scenery. Woodland, downland, and Kentish hills, there is plenty of scenery to enjoy.

You will be looked after before, during and after the ride. Free tea coffee and biscuits at the start, feed stations on route with rolls, jaffa cakes and bananas as well as water and SIS energy drink, then homemade cakes and tea and coffee and chocolate at the finish.

The event will be fully route marked, timed and an event photographer will be on the route to record your event.

There will be 2 routes, you can either ride 100 miles or 110km, it is possible to change your mind mid ride as the route splits half way around.

Special congratulations to Wendy Jones who made it around the 110km course, many of you will have passed her on her Hybrid. This is the furthest she had ever ridden and didn't realise what she had entered.. Sebastian Dickson who was the youngest rider at 14 who completed the 100 miles in 6 hours and 43 minutes.

amenities. Shame about the weather, but it's November and it was definitely Novemberish; at least it
didn't rain.
